Jack Mitchell: 6-9am with Jack & John in the Morning

Jack Mitchell

Jack co-hosts Jack & John in the Morning M-F from 6 a.m.-9 a.m. Jack's been a part of the KLIN Morning team for three years after spending four years practicing law in the Capital City. While he confesses to occasionally missing the excitement and competition of litigation, he's thrilled to have a job where his duties include talking about news, politics, entertainment and Husker Sports all the while inserting his own brand of analysis and humor into each discussion.

Jack grew up in Lincoln, attended Lincoln East High School and the University of Nebraska College of Law. Jack and his wife Meagan have been married since 2001 and they have a four-year old son named Johnny and a Basset Hound named Buford, who provides frequent on-air stories. When Jack isn't working, he's usually tweaking his fantasy football team, playing softball, training for local road races (mainly of the 5K variety), or organizing his digital music collection.

John Bishop: mornings 6-9am with Jack & John in the Morning

John Bishop

KLIN's Program Director and Broadcast House fixture John Bishop is starting is 16th year at Lincoln's News & Talk in 2009.

John is half of Jack and John in the Morning along with Jack Mitchell bringing you the latest sports and injecting his own personality into the show (read, "being a pain in the rear.")

John is KLIN's resident Husker go-to guy having covered the Big Red since his days at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In addition to previous work as pre and post game host for Husker football, John has done play by play for Husker baseball. You can also catch John every March on 10-11 & NET's statewide coverage of the State Boys & Girls Basketball Championships.

KLIN is a huge part of John's life. Not only has he spent the last decade and a half there, Broadcast House is where he met his wife Chris and together they have three boys (Brian, Sammy & Christian.)

Coby Mach: Afternoons at 4:30 on Drive Time Lincoln

In addition to his connections in city government, Coby is a veteran Lincoln broadcaster who always knows what's happening in our city. Coby is also the executive director of the Lincoln Independent Business Association and works with many of the Capitol City's most influential business leaders. When you turn on Coby at 5pm weekdays on 1400 KLIN, you'll know what's happening.

KLIN's most experienced on-air personality and news reporter, Jane Monnich anchors the KLIN News Team weekdays and when news happens. Jane enjoys her craft and isn't satisfied being glued to the news chair. She gets out where news happens and brings the experience of over 25 years in Lincoln reporting to her stories. From Presidential Visits to the Hallam Tornado to city council and the Legislature, you can trust the reporting of Jane Monnich on 1400 KLIN.

Dane Ross: mornings 6-9am with Jack & John in the Morning

Dane Ross

Dane Ross anchors Lincoln's Morning News for Jack & John in the Morning weekdays. Catch Dane's newscasts for the latest local stories every half hour between 5:30am to 9:30am. Dane also serves as the "Birthday Game Commissioner" for Jack and John's popular guessing game that ends their show each morning.

In 2003, Dane was hired as a weekend part time employee for KLIN and host on B107.3 FM. Before becoming a newsperson last fall, Dane was the producer of Jack and John in the Morning. He is often referred to as KLIN's resident vegetarian and eco-friendly guru.

You can also hear Dane on KLIN sister-station B107.3 as he moonlights as an afternoon host, weekdays from 3pm to 6pm.

Dane is a native Nebraskan who attended Alliance High School and earned a music degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University. Dane and his fiancée, Nicole, are planning on being married in June of 2010.

Kevin Thomas: Afternoons at 4:30 on Drive Time Lincoln

Kevin Thomas

KLIN Assistant Program Director Kevin Thomas is part of the afternoon team for KLIN, anchoring KLIN News throughout the afternoon and evening and is the producer and sports anchor for KLIN's Drive Time Lincoln with Coby Mach.

Kevin has been with KLIN since early 2007, returning to Lincoln after spending a year as Sports Director for KUTT Radio in Fairbury, NE.

Kevin can also be heard on the Husker Gameday pregame show, which airs on KLIN leading up to Nebraska football games, as part of the Husker Sports Network team. He is also the P.A. voice of Bowlin Stadium for Husker Softball.

Kevin grew up in Hastings and Omaha and is a 2006 graduate of UNL's College of Journalism. His grandfather, Lloyd Thomas, was a fixture at both KHAS-TV and KHAS-Radio in Hastings for more than 30 years and was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Nebraska Associated Press in 2008.

Rush Limbaugh

"The all-knowing, all-seeing, all-feeling Ma-ha-Rushie" has been a midday standard at KLIN for over 15 years. KLIN was one of the original members of the Excellence In Broadcasting network and Lincoln listeners have made Rush their favorite political commentator.

Rush Limbaugh is heard weekdays 11am to 2pm with the "Best of Rush" Sundays at Noon on 1400 KLIN.

Sean Hannity

Since joining KLIN in the days after the 9/11 attacks, Sean Hannity's popularity has only grown in Lincoln and around the country. His show is now the second most listened to radio program in the nation. Sean is a conservative who isn't afraid to debate the issues with anybody. The Sean Hannity Show is heard weekday afternoons at 2:00 and "The Best of Hannity" Saturdays at noon on 1400 KLIN.

Join Lane Grindle weeknights from 6:00 to 9:00 for "SportsNightly."

Lane has the latest Husker news, exclusive coaches and players interviews and sports talk targeted to the Husker Nation.

Lane also works sidelines for the Husker football broadcasts and calls the Nebraska baseball games here on 1400 KLIN.
